ABOUT ME
Welcome,
I’m Sarah — author of my book WOMAN: A Guide to Living Your Best Life by Setting Yourself Free and Coming Home to Yourself.
I’m mammy to a 14-year-old boy who was my first love when I needed him most. He came into my life as a late teen and initiated me into who I am today.
I’m a newly married wife to my soulmate and best friend, Juan — my greatest manifestation and proof of the healing work I’ve done over the years.
I’m a devoted best friend.
A daughter.
A proud northsider from Donaghmede, Dublin — a place of salt-of-the-earth people. My childhood was wheeling pretend buggies, smoking a fake smoke “like a mammy,” and carrying what felt like 50kg of prataí from the potato man. My memories are filled with bees and lying under beech trees and lots of kiss chasing.
My Roots
My background is in the medical world as a midwife in a busy Dublin maternity hospital, catching hundreds of babies. I’ve worked across women’s health — fertility, sexual health, pregnancy, and abortion care — like the old Bean Feasa (wise woman) who could tend to both beginnings and endings. She would help create a pregnancy, and if needed, relieve a woman of a pregnancy.
But it doesn’t end there, along with the depth of medical wisdom and experienced I gained, in my other hand I was honing my craft. I had always been a highly sensitive, intuitive and psychically gifted young girl. I loved the angelic realms as a young child and had mystical experiences from early on. This was passed on from my maternal grandfather - a man of the fairies (na Sídhe in Ireland). On my maternal line, I descend from the Reilly tribe ‘Ó Raghallaigh’ of the ancient land of Kells, Co. Meath, Ireland. My Granny Reilly was the Matriarch, with a deep devotion to her faith, she reared a family of 9 in a 2 bedroom council house, they never missed a homemade apple tart or a biscuit after dinner. My grandad was devoted to ‘Mother Mary’, a gentle soul, and was highly connected to the otherworld, and would read tea leaves and do card readings. On my paternal line, I descend from the Richardson’s. From the inner city in Dublin (originally possibly Scotland), a family filled with traditional music, an incredible skill for the arts, dance, theatre & creativity. This is the side where I get my creative spice from (and most definitely my ADHD). My grandad Richardson was a genius, and would invent contraptions and fix everything - this same gift passed onto my dad. My Granny Richardson, was a dancer, a performer and was also fond of the sweets she would hide down the side of her chair. She was a chancer, filled with mischief.
I am now, a Possié. A family filled with Latino culture and love and vibrancy. With family at the heart of everything, and a warmth of love and celebration coming all the way from Guatemala, Central America, which along with my husband being my greatest love, ceremonial cacao comes close second (maybe even equal!).
The Weaving of Worlds
My work blends the medical and the mystical. I’ve seen what each is missing when held in isolation — both hold danger in extremes.
In ancient Ireland, the Bean Feasa was medical, mystical, and shamanic. She was the midwife, doctor, nurse, counsellor, and keener. She understood that some ailments were physical, and some were rooted in the otherworld. She worked in the quantum.
This space is my version of that — a place for miracles, healing, truth, pleasure, remembrance, reconnection, and power. A step across the veil.
Alongside my work as a midwife and sexual health nurse at a Dublin university, I host retreats, trainings, and ceremonies worldwide. I have a podcast, a book, and another on the way.
Put simply, I am a gate keeper, I stand at the threshold, with a smile on my face and a welcome. I invite people in and out of their life, safely. I help people get well and feel better by crossing the threshold to the other world to receive.
I guide people to feel their soul and their inner life force again so they can be nourished and sustained by life force.
I help people to reconnect back to their origin.
